Atmos Tank and MIS makes life easy for Cairn Energy pipeline operators

Atmos Tank (tank management system) and MIS (management information summary) track the amount of crude oil transferred between tank farms on the Cairn Energy Barmer to Salaya Pipeline.
Each crude movement between tanks is recorded and available for reporting using a customized reporting tool. Atmos Tank and MIS also track and records the total flow into and out of each tank farm each day which was a specific request of Cairn Energy’s operations team.
The system automatically generates a daily report for operators that can be filed for later use and presented directly to management without the need for manual calculations or any additional work. The historical recording means these reports can be reproduced at any time the operators require, ensuring information is available when needed.
