HOW LONG DOES WARRANTY COVERAGE LAST?

One year from original date of purchase (Original proof of purchase required). Warranty coverage ends when a products becomes unusable for reasons other than defects in workmanship or material.

HOW CAN I GET SERVICE?

Should a problem arise with your Blazer unit(s) please send it (post prepaid) to the address below. Be sure to include:
  • Original dated receipt as Proof of Purchase
  • A note explaining the problem(s)
  • Your complete contact information including a phone number where you can be reached

What fuel should I use to refill my Blue Flame Micro Torch or Cigar Lighter?

Can I store my small micro torch lighter empty?

What elementary maintenance should I carry out?
The most important maintenance to be carried out is to regularly clean the flame nozzle with compressed air, not to store your micro torch empty and to avoid dust and debris entering the flame nozzle. For more information, select our Maintenance Section. [Back to FAQs]

What precautions can I take to prolong the life span of my Blue Flame Micro Torch?

I know your lighters are not the cheapest because of the high quality, but now I have seen your lighters for less than US$10. How is that possible?
You have come accross an inferior copy of the Origal PB207 Micro Torch Cigar Lighter. It is not to be compared with our Original Product. What is the procedure for having my Micro Torch serviced?
In our Service & Repair Center we can only accept repairs of Micro Torches of our Blue Flame brand which come through our distributors or reselling partners. How long does a repair normally take?
Please note the total turnaround time in the Repair Service is approximately 30 business days. Approximately 5 business days for the Blazer Service & Repair Center to receive your micro torch from your shipping date, 20 working days to repair and another 5 business days for return shipping. Do you service other brands than Blue Flame?
No. We carry no spare parts of other brands and can only service Blue Flame micro torches. [Back to FAQs]

What repairs can I do myself?
None. Attempting to repair a micro torch by a non authorized dealer may void your warranty. You may only carry out periodic maintenance by blowing compressed clean air into the flame nozzel to prevent it from becoming clogged. Check out Warranty and Periodic Maintenance Sections. [Back to FAQs]

How can I avoid costly repairs?
Prevent dust and dirt from entering into the flame nozzle. Store in a dry and clean place. Regularly carry out periodic maintenance by blowing compressed clean air into the flame nozzel to prevent it from becoming clogged. Check out our Maintenance Section. [Back to FAQs]

I really like your products. Where can I get one?

How long is the warranty period?

What is covered by your warranty and what not?
We specifically exclude following defects from our warranty:
– damages resulting from accident, misuse, abnormal use, tampering or abuse
– the outer case and finish is not covered under this warranty

How should I to handle in case of warranty?
If you think your Blue Flame Micro Torch is covered under the warranty and has a manufacturing defect not resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, tampering or abnormal use, do not send your Torch directly to us but contact your local dealer. Some of our dealers have their own repair facility. If we feel that your problem is not covered by our warranty we will inform you of such and why and estimate how much it will cost to repair. What are the advantages of using a Blue Flame lighter to light my cigar?
Lighting your cigar is an important factor in ensuring that your cigar will taste as it was meant to taste! Blue Flame cigar lighters produce a hot, oderless or neutral flame which protects the delicate tabacco flavours. The high temperature and the possibility to horizontally position the lighter enables you to light your cigar in a way that it will burn evenly. [Back to FAQs]

How should I light my cigar with a Blue Flame lighter?
After cutting your cigar – if applicable – first heat up the end of the cigar by placing the cigar in a horizontal position in one hand and putting your lighter in a horizontal position in your other hand. Never light a cigar while holding it in your mouth. Rotate the cigar against the flame until it is glowing. It is not necessary to put your cigar into the flame. The flame heat at 3 or 4 cm from the nozzle is enough to light it. Once it is glowing, draw and enjoy your evenly lit smoking delight. Always take your time to light you cigar. Make sure it is completely lit on the inside and outside. If not completely lit, the inner filler will burn faster than the binder or the cigar will burn unevenly. Both will compromise the taste. How should I maintain my cigar lighter?
Ashes are your biggest enemy. Avoid ashes from falling into the flame nozzle. Clean regularly with compressed air and do not store your lighter empty. For further details see our Maintenance and Storage Sections. [Back to FAQs]
