Volcano vaporizer whip attachment

Just wondering if anybody has adapted something to use as a whip with a Volcano and, if so, what you did and where you got the parts/materials.

I saw one interesting post on the subject on another board where the poster said they added a t-junction to the whip with one extension to the mouthpiece and another to a bag so as to fill the bag in-between draws on the whip. I should think you can just turn the fan on and off as needed, but its an interesting idea.

I would like to know if others have thought and perhaps done on this subject.

I personally have not tried anything to make the volcano usable with a whip but it would definitely be interesting.

I’m ordering my Volcano this evening (in the next hour or so) from Vapor Nation. I did find this product available for slightly less via ebay and the like but I would rather stick with a known internet vendor and you and everybody else seems to like Vapor Nation so that’s the way I’m going.

When I get it, I may make a hobby of trying to figure out a workable whip contraption for it. I’m surprised that S&B hasn’t done so already. What the heck, everybody needs a hobby 😀

It’s possible to use a high temp silicone whip, and just push it on the end of the easy valve herb chamber! If you put a glass mouth piece on the end you toke from (like the ones for the Extreme Q around £5 you could perhaps use Extreme Q whip material too) the flavour is even better! Be sure not to use Vinyl or PVC tubing though as it will melt!

A bit like this pic I found but without the jam jar full of water!

Hope this helps, happy experimenting! 😎

The above method works very well lol 😎 just make sure you use the right whip material (high temp silicone) so it doesn’t melt!

There is also a glass connector you can buy for £25, that connects your actual easy valve volcano bags to a water pipe! Check it out here Easy valve Gong adapter!

To be honest, I prefer the actual whip method, rather than attaching a full bag of vapor to a water pipe!

HI AJ – So, I take it you are in the UK? I’m in Maryland but work for a small UK based software company based in Enfield which only gone to prove Shaw’s observation that we are two countries separated by a common language. On conf calls, I actually can understand my mate from the east end better than those with the super posh accent. It is a source of constant amusement.

Only have been once, love to go back to UK again.

I’m with you, I don’t see the immediate need for attaching a whip to bag as bag will be cool and the valve doesn’t present any serious challenges to use. My goal is along the lines of your photo, connect the volcano itself to a whip. I really think S&B are missing the boat on this.

I did see some contraption called the Vapor Dome that somebody hand blew out of glass for a period of time. The dome sat over the top third of the Volcano with attachment points for whips. Only seal apparently is glass on aluminum housing and the product was panned by online reviews.

Thanks for your very helpful replies and as its 12:30 pm here in the USA, then have a nice Sat evening in the UK.

yes I do live in the U.K.

The super posh accent is amusing to us as well, I swear they must put it on (maybe it’s taught in prep school or something)! Most of the British population do not talk like that Lol just like not all Americans sound like rednecks lol I’m actually Scottish so I definitely sound funny when I talk! An American once told me I speak very good English because of my Scottish accent, he thought English was my second language! Lol 😀

The company in the link do ship to the U.S in case you where interested in any of their products.

I’ve seen the Vapor Dome but have no experience with it, so I can’t really comment on it!
